Cobras was influenced by number of groups such as Tonstartssbandht, Wavves, GG Allin, etc.

Absolutely unprofessional musical skills and at the same time a mighty energy that was born out of the sick shit that surrounds us on the outskirts of the megapolis.

As soon as it seemed that nothing could terrify me more than grinding Merzbow and that nothing could be more weird than the noisescapes by Guilty Connector, these guys drilled into my head and melted my brain!
Prudently, tactfully and in some ways even gently they'll make your mind retching:
eerie collages of drunken voices breaks the electrified silence of cold urban driveways for more than thirteen minutes,
and that's not all!
You bet, our old friend Booby Mason recorded to us another longplay >> eleven minutes of psychedelic brain scanning with folk tunes played on the simple harmonica...

Booby Mason - 乾燥 (2011)

Booby Mason. Under this alias hides a young noise musician from Omsk [RU] named Anton. In 2009 he founded 広島の おもちゃ ペット label, on which he releases all his own musical projects, including this one. Throughout all his activity time he has produced about 30 recordings in different styles of experimental music — from harsh noise to easier electronics.

There is no doubt that Booby Mason is mostly influenced by Japanese noise school. In this connection it is not surprising that his new longplay recording is called in Japanese — 【乾燥】, that means dryness or dehumidification.

Twenty minutes of pure psychedelic noise with various complicated structures and original analogue/digital sound.

Until the new split with Torturing Nurse on Great Misanthrope Records is still coming, let's enjoy this withering noisy psychedelia right now!

Mushroomwavved Collar - Maso (2008)

MushroomWavved Collar is one-man experimental project from Smolensk [RU].

Active since 2008, MWC recorded 3 EPs and 2 splits, most of them are self-released (discography will be presented here soon).

MWC's unique style can be described as highly experimental analog noise with ambient structure influenced by electronic music styles such as Power Noise and IDM.


【Maso】 was produced in 2008 and including 8 tracks of weird guitar noise.
This early record is not just noise manipulations, it's more like digitized personal emotional conflicts between musician's inner world with the outside. Originally produced raw guitar sound with a little digital processing created atmospheres of anxiety and uncertainty of (e)motions.
Highly recommended for those who like abstract and experimental aspects of noise music. Enjoy!
